or a chef. I’m just a girl who likes to eat healthy, great tasting food. And one who has better things to do than spend hours in the kitchen. (Like bouncing on my rebounder, getting a pedicure, or attempting to catch up on the third season of “Orange is the New Black.”) So sorry if […]
I used to be really into green smoothies…
as in, had to have them every single day. Kale and grapefruit, spinach and blueberry, and whatever other combinations appealed to me. Green smoothies can be a great way to get more raw greens into your diet. And no matter what dietary theory you believe is best, it seems that everyone agrees that raw, leafy […]
Why I dry brush (and why you should too!)
I first heard about dry brushing years ago, but it kind of went in one ear and out the other. Even though I’ve always been into health, it was mostly in the area of nutrition and exercise. But then my sister started doing it this summer and raving about it. I still wasn’t convinced. Like […]
I have this really cute personal trainer.
He motivates me to move my body every single day, even if I’m not feeling it. He makes me got out in all kinds of weather, sometimes in the wee hours of the morning. He’s my nine year old Bichon, KO. Why I’m wearing these goofy goggles
Yes, I know I look ridiculous. And I’m completely ok with that! Here’s why… I’m eat well, and I get plenty of exercise, but there is one area where I consistently struggle, and that is sleep. I don’t get enough, and it’s not always the best quality.
