About me

Thanks for checking out happy, healthy and hot!  I’m Elizabeth.  I’m passionate about holistic health, and I believe that all women deserve to feel happy, healthy and hot.  We deserve to look and feel amazing!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with health and nutrition.  In addition to reading everything I can get my hands on, I have earned a holistic health coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. I’m also currently working on a second certification as a Primal Health Coach.

With some simple lifestyle changes and whole foods, I have dramatically reduced anxiety, healed digestive issues, and cleared my skin of cystic acne.

My story has been featured on some popular health websites.  Here is a post that appeared on Mark’s Daily Apple:  Thanks to Primal Living at 49 I look and feel better than ever.  Here’s one from Jenni Raincloud:  The Acne Cure: One Woman’s Story.  And The Love Vitamin:  How Elizabeth Finally Ended Her Four Decade Struggle with Acne.

Podcasts I have appeared on include the Primal Blueprint Podcast, where I chatted with Elle Russ about my transition from long time vegetarian to primal/paleo.  I’ve also appeared on the Too Busy To Eat podcast hosted by Greg Zuffelato.

When I’m not busy sharing my happy, healthy and hot message with the world, I’m probably listening to music, taking my dog KO for a long walk, or driving with the top down.  I also love really dark chocolate, sea turtles, and all things pleather.  My favorite color is Tiffany blue but almost everything I wear is black or grey.

This website is where I share easy recipes, skin care tips, and other ideas to help you look and feel amazing.  Follow me on Instagram @resnickelizabeth for even more!

I would love to hear from you…please leave a comment on any of my posts…or shoot me an email:  elizabeth@elizres.com.

Thanks for reading!

Love,

Elizabeth

  1. HI Elizabeth-
Read some of your blog pages. Very interesting. My daughter has a doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicines and she is a holistic healer and a vegan and more. So I found your pages extremely interesting and also a fun read. Thanks for sharing
