I bought this one at Forever 21 a few years ago. With wedges, hoops and a jean jacket it’s good for a casual lunch. Booties and a pleather jacket give it a badass edge. And it can totally be dressed up with strappy sandals.
And you can do just as many things with cauliflower. Actually, more.
Which is pretty awesome.
Because cauliflower is high in fiber and vitamin C. Eating foods high in fiber keeps you satiated, which can be helpful for weight loss. Vitamin C is amazing for your skin. It can have a brightening effect and supports the production of new collagen for firm and healthy skin. Cauliflower is also high in phytonutrients that support our cardiovascular, digestive, immune and detoxification systems.
So eat your cauliflower!
are one of my favorite things right now. Right up there with the new Charlie Puth song and wearing booties with shorts. Which I’ve been doing pretty much every day.
These cookies taste amazing, are a good source of healthy fat and protein, and contain collagen peptides that help to firm your skin and strengthen nails and hair. In other words, these cookies can make you prettier!
This recipe is a variation of the cashew butter chocolate chip cookies that I posted last summer. Here’s what I used:
is one of my all-time favorite Madonna songs.
Especially her performance at the 1984 MTV VMAs with the wedding dress and boy-toy belt.
I like the early 80’s, dark roots, black plastic bracelet Madonna. And pretty much copied her style back in the day. Minus the boy-toy belt.
As I discussed in a previous post (Has your olive oil lost its virginity?) most extra virgin olive oil is not as pure as it claims to be. Kind of like Madonna in the above-mentioned song.
But I’ve found some olive oil that is not only pure, but tastes totally amazing. Continue reading

Earlier in the week I went live on Instagram to talk about the simple ass, abs and arms workouts that I post every Monday. During that live I shared these five tips.
Since the video is no longer up there (they disappear after 24 hours) I decided to post them here as well.
None of this stuff is earth shattering. It’s all pretty basic info that you already know. Sometimes you just need a reminder. So here you go… Continue reading

I’ve been drinking my Turmeric Tonic iced and I’m totally loving it.

I’ve pulled together some of my favorite avocado posts.
Because nothing says Cinco de Mayo like avocados. Well, except margaritas. Could have done a margarita post!
I’ve been into avocados for decades…long before they were hip and trendy and people were creating memes about them.
My mom was pretty obsessed with them back in the 70’s (and still is to this day.) I even got avocados in my Easter basket one year. You can’t make this stuff up.
And avocados are a good thing to be obsessed with… Continue reading
and it will make you gorgeous!
This cold summer soup is loaded with healthy fats, collagen protein and antioxidant rich veggies for gorgeous skin and a hot body. It fits in nicely with Paleo, Primal and Keto lifestyles and is even Whole30 compliant.
And it literally comes together in minutes, since there’s no actual cooking involved. Which means more time for playing in the pool, squeezing in a quick workout on the bosu, or taking some cute pics for Instagram!
I love to have this soup for lunch on a hot day. You could serve smaller portions and have it with a meal also.
Here’s what I use: Continue reading
