If you hit all three of those areas first thing in the am, you’re setting yourself up for an awesome day. And it doesn’t have to take much time.
Let me explain…
Let’s start with happy.
Filling your mind with something positive first thing in the morning is key. The most important thing is to stay off your phone! Don’t check social media, texts or email first thing. That shit can wait.
There are so many ways to start your day on a positive note.
Journaling, meditation and prayer are all wonderful. So are positive affirmations and visualization. Some of my favorite affirmations are “Good things are always happening to me” and “I am open and ready to receive.” Visualizing your ideal day in as much detail as possible (what are you wearing? how do you feel? who are you with?) is pretty amazing too.
You don’t need to do everything. Pick and choose what works for you.
If you feel stuck when it comes to journaling, try my 3-3-3 method. List three things you are grateful for, write out three affirmations and three goals. Putting things into writing is very powerful.
No time at all? When your alarm goes off just take a minute to think of three things that you are grateful for.
Next comes healthy.
Putting some healthy stuff into your body first thing in the am gets the day off to a great start. My not so secret weapons are collagen peptides and some source of antioxidants.

No time at all? Do some air squats while you brush your teeth.
