I’m totally into turmeric…

because it’s so amazing for you.

Turmeric is a root that is one of the most effective spices when it comes to fighting disease and inflammation.  There are over 10,000 (!) peer reviewed articles proving the benefits of turmeric.

Since turmeric is such a powerful anti-inflammatory, it can be helpful with pain management.  It also shows promise at regulating cholesterol, managing arthritis, and treating cancer.  It’s anti-inflammatory properties make it helpful for our skin, and it can even promote weight loss.

To put things more simply, turmeric is amazing and we all should be consuming it!

But the only problem with turmeric?

Actually getting it into your body on a daily basis so you can reap the benefits.

So here’s what I’ve been doing…

The fat from the cashew milk (or whatever milk you choose to use) helps with absorption of the turmeric as well.

Sometimes I blend just half a scoop into my am coffee…along with coconut oil or grass fed butter and of course my collagen peptides, also from Further Food.

And since I tend to get pretty creative in the kitchen, I plan to come up with some other fun ways to use this…of course I will share them!
