I’m totally into “Something Just Like This” by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay…

Can’t get enough of it, blast it in my car every time it comes on the radio.  Awesome feel-good song!

Also can’t get enough of some cool products that I picked up at Paleo f(x) that I’ve been dying to share with you.  There isn’t room for everything in one post…so stay tuned for more.

Here are three of my faves:

🌟   Nutpods:

Nutpods were the “product of the day” the last day...everyone walking through the door got some.  I gave Nutpods the happy, healthy and hot seal of approval over a year ago, and my enthusiasm hasn’t waned.

This is my fave non dairy creamer for its clean ingredients and great taste…the original tastes like real half and half to me.  You don’t need to put them in the fridge until they’re opened, so they’re awesome for travel.  Dairy makes me break out, so for me, nutpods = clear skin.  Nutpods are Whole30 approved as well.  I’ve never seen them in stores, but like everything else in the world you can get them on Amazon.

🌟   Dirty mouth Toothpowder

dirty mouth

I’m a sucker for a naughty name…used to buy Urban Decay’s Perversion mascara as much for the name as the effect on my lashes!  So it’s no surprise that this toothpowder caught my eye.  (I’ve since switched to 100% Pure mascara…love it every bit as much and totally clean ingredients list.)

But on to Dirty Mouth… this toothpowder makes my teeth feel super clean, even more so than regular toothpaste.  It has a refreshing minty taste that is not overpowering.  The container also came with a little scoop thing that you can use to get it onto your wet toothbrush, so you don’t have to double dip!

This product was created by Trina Felber of Primal Life Organics.  She gave a great presentation on the crap that is found in most skincare…pretty much preaching to the choir!

🌟   Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil

I’ve been blending coconut oil and collagen peptides into my coffee for years, and love the steady energy and skin benefits.  After hearing Dave Asprey (the creator of the Bulletproof brand) speak, I decided I had to try Brain Octane Oil.

Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil is derived from coconuts, but is like a super charged MCT oil.  I’ve been using it instead of my coconut oil, starting with just a teaspoon a day and gradually increasing.

It’s only been a week, but from day one there was a noticeable difference in my energy level and focus, and I’m pretty high energy to begin with.  More energy means I’m more likely to squeeze in a quick workout, so in my mind brain octane oil = better body.

I’ll continue to report on this, and I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried it and experienced similar benefits.

So, can using these products help you feel happy, healthy and hot?  Do I really have to ask?

You’ll be happy trying out fun new products.  Nutpods, Dirty Mouth Toothpowder and Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil are all made from healthy ingredients.   And with clear skin, a bright smile and energy to spare, you’ll be very hot!

  1. Great reviews. So true about some of the stuff in skincare. I’ve got pretty good skin but I’m sure most of it is due to good diet, simple routine: hot oil cleanse and sunscreen. I’m slowly changing over cosmetics and household cleaners too.

  2. Totally with you Tanya…good skin starts on the inside! I’ve seen more improvements in my skin from diet than anything else. Good for you for switching out household cleaners…I’ve been doing that too!
