I’m off to the Big Apple…

and even though there are plenty of happy, healthy and hot places to eat, I’m packing a few reinforcements in my cute sequined bag.

My beauty greens go everywhere…think this was in Philly

Two things that help me look and feel my best are collagen peptides and leafy greens.  At home, I blend the collagen into my coffee and make a fresh green drink every morning.  When I travel, I always bring Collagen Beauty Greens from Vital Proteins, and get my collagen and greens in one.  This is seriously an amazing product…I did a whole post on it:

Not cheap, but easy

No matter where I travel, I enjoy wandering down to the hotel lobby early in the morning to grab a cup of coffee and take it back to the room.  But they usually only offer half and half, and dairy makes me break out.

Nut Pods to the rescue!  This is a great new product…a delicious, unsweetened creamer made from coconuts and almonds, in great little tetra packs you can travel with.  You don’t need to refrigerate them until they are open…that’s what the mini fridge is for!  They come in three flavors:  Original, Hazelnut and French Vanilla.  If you order a four pack (which I recommend…you will love them!) you can get 20% off through July 11 with my promo code:  liz20off

Something I love about New York is all the walking…you really get to see the city.  To keep my energy up, I’m packing Vital Proteins Grass Fed Liver Capsules.  Organ meats are amazing for you, but let’s be real…no one is eating them!  Liver in particular is known to help you feel energized, and I have found that to be true.  It gives me steady energy during the day, and I sleep like a baby at night.  Good combo.  But since I rarely feel like dealing with liver, these capsules come in handy.

My trusty travel companions!

What else is in my bag?  A super cute pair of Sam Edelman wedges…I love that they make me taller (I’m 5’1”) and I can walk in them all day.  My black Abercrombie shorts…yes, I can fit into them!  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read this post:

My shorts are too tight

I’m also throwing in a bunch of cute summer tops.  And my MacBook.  Oh, and follow me on Instagram @resnickelizabeth for pics of what I am eating while I’m there!

So can packing some Collagen Beauty Greens, Nut Pods, and Grass Fed Liver Capsules help you feel happy, healthy and hot?  Sounds a little crazy, but yes it can!  You will be happy knowing that you are getting your day off to a good start.  The nutrients from the liver capsules, collagen and greens all support optimum health.  And if you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that the combo of greens and collagen is great for firm, glowing skin…and that is very hot!

  1. You are an inspiration! Hey, liver taste great if you sneak it into lamb meatballs. Check out Hemsley & Hemsley cookbooks. They figure out ingenious ways to make it yummy. I think I am the only one at whole foods buying all of the Bell and Evans liver! Have fun in New York! xo

  2. Hey Christian! Great idea about the meatballs. I will def check out those cookbooks! I can get pastured ground beef with 20% organ meats ground in from some farmers who have a stand at our market. As long as you season it (great for tacos) no one can tell! And I can totally eat it plain as a burger. Happy 4th xo
