I’ve created Five Ways to Remind Yourself that you’re a Badass because let’s face it, we could all use a reminder sometime.
Here are five tools I use pretty much every single day to remind me that I’m a badass and can do hard things.
DRESS LIKE ONE
For me it’s the shoes! It could be a bold pendant, the perfect ripped jeans or a bold red lip. Maybe even some amazing lingerie. But make sure you put something on every day that makes you look and feel incredible. And do it for you!
CREATE A BADASS PLAYLIST
This can be what ever music gets you pumped up and ready to take charge. Some personal favorites of mine are “Confident” by Demi Lovato, “Stronger” by Kanye West, and “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max.
MOVE YOUR BODY
Every damn day. Preferably in the morning. Not only will you look and feel better, you are keeping a promise to yourself. Not much time? Challenge yourself to hold a plank every day and use a stopwatch. Seeing your strength improve is a big reminder of what a badass you are.
COMPLETE SOMETHING YOU’VE BEEN PUTTING OFF
This literally feels like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and frees up so much energy it’s amazing! Could be a call, email, even taking clothes to Goodwill. Complete that task you’ve been putting off and enjoy how great it makes you feel.
END YOUR SHOWER WITH COLD WATER
There are some legit health benefits, but that is not why I do it. I do it for the way it makes me feel. I am a complete baby when it comes to water temperature, so ending my shower with cold water completely pushes me out of my comfort zone and delivers an immediate boost of energy.
