ACV drink that actually tastes good!
This pretty drink looks like sangria, tastes like an extra fruity kombucha and offers some legit health benefits.
In other words, it’s a win win win..
ACV (apple cider vinegar) can help regulate blood sugar and may support weight loss. It’s also loaded with beneficial enzymes and can help with digestion, especially when consumed before a meal.
The problem most people have with ACV is the taste. But I’ve got you covered!
By adding a few other ingredients (that you probably have at home) you can reap the benefits of ACV while enjoying a tasty beverage.
Let’s start with the ACV itself…you want to buy the kind that is raw and unfiltered. Bragg is the most popular brand and the one I use.
Freshly squeezed lemon juice adds a burst of fresh flavor and vitamin C to boost immunity and support collagen production (who doesn’t love collagen?)
Frozen (or fresh if you have them) berries add fruity flavor, fiber and plenty of antioxidants. Any berries will do…there are some great frozen mixed berries. My favorite is a combination of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.
Mineral water adds a nice sparkle. My personal favorite brand is Pellegrino, but Topo Chico, Perrier and Gerolsteiner are all options too.
Since the ACV is so sour, I sweeten with a little bit of stevia. I personally like to use liquid stevia so it blends better. My favorite brand is NuNaturals.
This could’t be easier to make. I don’t really measure…because who really has time for that??
So here it is: an ACV drink that actually tastes good!
Happy Healthy and Hot ACV Drink:
- Add some ice cubes and a few frozen berries to a pretty glass.
- Pour in a splash of raw ACV…about a tablespoon.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and stevia to taste!
- Top with mineral water
- Enjoy!!!
