is crazy good. And easy. With minimal cleanup.
This meal is compatible with Paleo, Primal, Keto and low carb lifestyles. If you just like eating good food made from real ingredients, that’s cool too.
You can probably guess two of the ingredients…shrimp and broccoli.
The third ingredient is what gave it all the flavor…
the new Sesame Ginger Avocado Oil dressing from Primal Kitchen Foods. I’ve loved all of their dressings so far, and this one certainly lived up to my expectations with it’s sweet and spicy flavor.
So let’s talk about these ingredients…
Shrimp is a good source of protein that has the advantage of cooking very quickly. Shrimp also contains the carotenoid astaxanthin, as well as vitamin B12, selenium, copper and iodine. The astaxanthin, selenium and copper are all awesome for your skin. I used frozen shrimp that were already peeled and had tails removed to make this really easy.
Broccoli is a great source of vitamin K, vitamin C, carotenoids and folate. Broccoli is being studied for it’s detox and cancer prevention benefits. It also tastes great and works well with shrimp. In the interest of keeping things easy, I used the pre-cut fresh broccoli florets that are now readily available in most grocery stores.
The Sesame Ginger dressing is made with avocado oil, which contains beneficial monounsaturated fats. All of the ingredients are super clean, including apple cider vinegar, ginger, sesame seeds and garlic, all of which are organic.
So here’s how I made this:
happy, healthy and hot three ingredient sesame chicken and broccoli
one pound peeled raw shrimp
one pound fresh broccoli florets
about one half bottle Primal Kitchen Foods Sesame Ginger Avocado Oil Dressing
This is too easy!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment.
Spread the broccoli out on the baking sheet and drizzle with about one quarter of a bottle of the dressing. I shook the dressing well before using it. Place in the oven for about ten minutes.
Carefully remove the pan from oven and give the broccoli a stir. Then add the shrimp, drizzle with another one quarter of the bottle of dressing and put back in the oven until sbrimp is cooked through. This took about seven minutes but could vary depending on your oven and the size of the shrimp.
Remove from oven and enjoy! This serves two to four, depending on how hungry everyone is.
Can my three ingredient sesame shrimp and broccoli help you feel happy, healthy and hot? Hell yeah!
You’ll be happy enjoying a delicious meal made from healthy ingredients. These ingredients support healthy skin and a fit body…so of course you’ll be hot!
