when in reality you took a nap, got a pedi, and had time to check everyone’s Instagram stories?
You can with the salad dressings/marinades from Primal Kitchen Foods.
These are my secret weapon in the kitchen, for food that tastes great without a ton of work.
And I love the squeaky clean ingredients list…they are free of dairy, soy, canola, gluten and sugar. Made from just real food ingredients. As if you were making your own salad dressing from scratch. Except you don’t actually have to. Avocado oil is the main ingredient, which is loaded with beneficial fats for healthy skin.
So here are some ideas for using Primal Kitchen dressings in your own kitchen…
I use the Primal Kitchen Balsamic Vinaigrette to make glazed salmon and veggies. This is super simple… you basically dump everything on a sheet pan and pop it in the oven. I mixed the vinaigrette with avocado oil to make the glaze…that’s it! Here’s the recipe:
Balsamic glazed salmon and veggies…
Oh, and the balsamic vinaigrette is also awesome to roast brussels sprouts with…drizzle them with the vinaigrette and some avocado or olive oil and roast till they just start to brown. Soooo good!
The Primal Kitchen Caesar has the perfect creamy Caesar flavor, but without any dairy or crappy ingredients. Just pour it on some romaine lettuce and top with a protein and you have a quick and delicious meal.
Or, you could do what I did and use it to flavor roasted salmon and broccoli. This was another one of my sheet pan meals… because I’m all about easy clean up. And it turned out great…I’ll probably make it again this week. Here’s the link:
This wasn’t what I planned on making…
The Primal Kitchen Honey Mustard Vinaigrette is an old favorite. I don’t know if I’ve ever actually used it on a salad, but it makes an amazing marinade.
I just made breaded chicken tenders with it that were a big hit. So simple! I marinated a pound of fresh chicken breast tenders in about a quarter cup of the Honey Mustard Vinaigrette. While they were marinating I blended a quarter cup of coconut flour with some pink Himalayan salt and freshly cracked pepper. After about an hour, I dredged the tenders in the seasoned coconut flour. I cooked them in avocado oil on medium heat until they were browned on each side. So good…served them with roasted broccoli and red bell pepper strips.
So, can these salad dressings from Primal Kitchen Foods help you feel happy, healthy and hot? Hell yeah!
You’ll be happy enjoying a delicious meal that was simple to put together. All of these recipes and ideas contain healthy ingredients. Eating this way, with plenty of good fats, quality protein and antioxidants will give you healthy skin, more energy and a better body. Which is definitely hot!
