A few other faves: “Something Just Like This” by The Chainsmokers. That one gives me the chills…love it! Also into “Attention” by Charlie Puth and “Strip That Down” by Liam Payne and Quavo. Which I mentioned in my last post, but it bears repeating if you haven’t listened yet!
And here are some of my picks for protecting your skin (and giving it a shimmery glow!) while you’re hanging poolside or at the beach:
☀️☀️ ☀️ Raw Elements is an amazing sunscreen for face and body. Totally love this company for their pure ingredients, effective formulas, and nature-loving vibe. The protection is provided by 23% non-nano zinc oxide…pretty much the safest and most protective stuff out there. The formulas are reef safe, which is really hard to find.
My fave product is the tinted face moisturizer. The tint hides the white zinc oxide look, and it even gives a little coverage…throw on some lip gloss and Ray Bans and you’re good to go!
The tinted face moisturizer is so reasonable that I even use it on my shoulders and arms if needed. But they also have a non-tinted if you prefer.

☀️ ☀️ ☀️ SunLove by Annmarie Skincare is another great sunscreen, made specifically for the face. It’s also formulated with zinc oxide, is tinted, and gives light coverage. If you want to apply makeup on top of your sunscreen, this is the one that I would recommend because it feels very light on your face. But it can totally stand on its own as a tinted moisturizer.

And now for the fun part…shimmer! Because I love all things shimmery and glittery.
☀️ ☀️ ☀️ Coconut Body Glow by Kopari Beauty gives you an all-over golden shimmer, and smells like a tropical vacation. Totally love this stuff! The first ingredient is organic coconut oil, so it’s super moisturizing. It does not contain SPF. Kopari suggests mixing it with a natural SPF product if you’ll be wearing it on the beach. I would not go to that trouble…this is something I will mostly use for going out. I do not make that much effort for a day at the beach.
While Kopari products start with a base of organic coconut oil, and contain some other great ingredients, I want to point out that they are not as squeaky clean as most of the items that I use and recommend. But it’s such a fun summer indulgence that I had to tell you.
And before I sign off with my usual question, I want to point out a little something about sunscreen. I personally do not cover myself in sunscreen from head to toe every time I venture outside. Our bodies need vitamin D, and natural sunlight is the best way to get that. So while I try to protect my face, I allow my arms and legs to get some unprotected sun. I just don’t go crazy.
