Change your Life with One Practice
I shared this in detail on a recent Instagram live…everyone needs this in their life. One practice to change your life. It’s THAT good.
Every single day, list 3 things to brag about, 3 things you are grateful for, and 3 things you desire.
This is amplified when you share it with someone who is like-minded but is also effectively written out in a journal. My sister and I share this daily, either over the phone or via voice text.
Let’s break this down:
BRAGGING is all about celebrating you. As women, we are not doing this enough. First, as little girls, we were taught that it’s not nice to brag but I completely disagree. As we lift ourselves up we are lifting those around us up.
Brag about your accomplishments, big and small. Talk about how cute your outfit is. Brag about setting boundaries with toxic people. Doesn’t matter what it is…just brag!
GRATITUDE is so important…focus on the details to really help it sink in. You can be grateful for people, moments, things…it’s all good. I find the more you pay attention to the details the more it sinks in.
For example, this morning I wasn’t just grateful for my coffee. I was grateful for the feel of the warm mug in my hand, the delicious taste and aroma, and the peaceful sounds of snoring dogs.
DESIRES are so powerful…dream big. You can be grateful for what you have and still want more!
Desires can certainly be material things, like Tiffany’s lariat that I desire as I’m writing this. But they don’t have to be. I also desire a peaceful and meaningful holiday season, free from expectations.
Truth Time:
What we focus on expands…so let’s focus on the good.
The more we brag, the more we’ll have to brag about!
The more we express gratitude the more things we will see to be grateful for!
And the more we get clear on our desires, the easier it is for God/Angels/Universe to grant them to us.
Commit to trying this for a week and see how you feel. Once my sister and I started we never looked back. Change your life with just one change!
As I always say, when you are turned on, lit the fuck up, and head over heels in love with the life you are making the world a better place just by being in it!
