I just bought a mini trampoline and I am having way too much fun!
I had one for years, but when it bit the dust I didn’t replace it right away. Now that I finally did I want to shout from the roof tops how much fun I am having and how amazing I feel every time I use it.
And it’s no wonder. It turns out rebounding (the technical term for bouncing!) has some legit health benefits. Some of these benefits were studied by NASA when they were looking for ways to counteract the loss of muscle and bone mass that happens to astronauts in space.
Rebounding increases oxygen flow throughout the body.
Rebounding supports the lymphatic system, which in turn helps with detox and immunity.
Rebounding is more gentle on your joints than other forms of weight bearing exercise.
Rebounding is a gentle way to prevent loss of bone density, which is very important for women as we get older.
And here are two more benefits…ones that I think are even more important, even if NASA didn’t study them.
Rebounding is a great way to get a little burst of energy in just a few minutes. I keep mine where it’s easy to get to, and love to take a bounce break whenever I’m drag. Perks me up right away with no caffeine.
And best of all, rebounding is FUN! It’s almost impossible not to smile when you’re bouncing around.
To get all these benefits, all you need to do is gently bounce a few inches off the ground. I typically get carried away and do more than that.

And ladies…be sure to wear a good sports bra…you don’t want everything bouncing around!
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention…this little rebounder was only $38 delivered to my door for free. It only took a few minutes to put it together, although it does require two people.
I have heard that Urban Rebounder is a good brand, but so far I’m doing just fine with mine.
So now I want to hear from you…have you tried rebounding?
