But even though I don’t wear red, I’ve been drinking it lately.
And I’m not just talking about red wine. Although I did cover that in a recent post: I’m going out with the girls tonight…
I’ve been trying this Red Juice from Organifi for the past month, and really like it.
I love Organifi’s green drink which I reviewed a few months back: Some mornings I blend fresh greens with ginger and lemon in the Vitamix…
So when they came out with this one, I had to try it.
Red Juice is a gently dried superfood powder. You just stir it into water and drink it down. There might be a few little lumps, but I have no problem drinking it.
The ingredients are super impressive:
Acai berries are crazy high in antioxidants. Remember, you need to think of antioxidants as anti-aging. So the more the better!
Beets are rich in nitric oxide and can actually boost oxygen in the blood. Studies on athletes have shown some pretty amazing results with beet juice.
Pomegranate seeds are packed with nutrients and may improve cardiovascular health.
Cranberries lower oxidative stress and support health of the gums and the urinary tract.
Raspberries are loaded with minerals that are awesome for your skin.
Blueberries are rich in vitamins C and K and anthocyanins, which have been studied for their anti-aging properties.
Strawberries are also high in vitamin C and many other antioxidants. And remember, vitamin C helps your body produce more collagen for firm, healthy skin!
Cordyceps are rare mushrooms from the Himalayas that are powerful adaptogens, which means they help regulate your energy and adapt to stress.
Siberian Ginseng supports stress relief and weight loss. All good!
Reishi mushroom has been called the King of Mushrooms. Women in ancient Japan brewed it into a tea said to give immortal youth. Sounds good to me! It supports the liver, which is a major detox organ.
Rhodiola, or golden root, is another adaptogen. It’s popular in Europe as an energy drink, and supports ATP production.
But how does it taste? There are a few crazy ingredients in there.
Amazing! Kind of a fruit punch/berry flavor. It’s almost too sweet for me but very easy to get down. The great thing is that it’s sweetened with monk fruit, so it won’t mess with your blood sugar.
One thing I want to make clear…I do not think that drinks like this are necessary if you are eating plenty of fresh produce every day. Being happy, healthy and hot is all about eating real food, but it’s always good to have a back up plan!
And let’s face it…most of us aren’t consuming all the produce we should every single day. I’m pretty dedicated, but there are times when my fridge is bare or I just don’t have the time to prepare stuff. And there’s never any Siberian ginseng or rhodiola going in the stuff I’m whipping up at home, that’s for sure!
So I use drinks like this Red Juice or the original Green Drink on the days when I don’t have time to make something fresh, or just want an extra boost.
Can superfood drinks from Organifi help you feel happy, healthy and hot? They sure can!
You will be happy drinking something that is healthy but actually tastes good. The ingredients support gorgeous skin, healthy hair and and increased energy…so you’ll be hot for sure!
