But as much as I like black clothes, some things just seem wrong in black.
Like toothpaste.
I’ve told you about whitening my teeth with activated charcoal (Whiter teeth without grief). Then my friend Beth introduced me to My Magic Mud, a wonderful whitening powder that is slightly less messy. (Coffee, tea and the occasional glass of Pinot Noir…)
And now I’m really going crazy and brushing my teeth with black toothpaste. And my teeth are whiter than ever.
The toothpaste is also from My Magic Mud. And I have to say, I am loving it.
My Magic Mud Whitening Toothpaste is vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, non-gmo and fluoride free.
It is made from bentonite clay, xylitol, coconut oil, activated charcoal, and other natural ingredients. The only thing I was concerned about was potassium sorbate, a potassium salt that is a common preservative, but it has a safe rating from the Environmental Working Group.
Some people may question the lack of fluoride. I have no problem with it at all.
Happy, healthy and hot is meant to be fun and positive. I’m all about telling you how great you will feel when you improve the quality of your food and personal care items. So all I’m going to say is this…fluoride is not all it’s cracked up to be.
I am using the Wintergreen flavor, but it also comes in Peppermint and Cinnamon Clove. The flavor is fresh but not overpowering.
My Magic Mud recommends using the toothpaste and whitening powder as a system to keep your teeth as white as possible. They suggest using the powder every evening, and the toothpaste in between. My teeth are staying very white using this toothpaste several times a day, and the whitening powder a few times a week.
