Can’t get enough of it, blast it in my car every time it comes on the radio. Awesome feel-good song!
Also can’t get enough of some cool products that I picked up at Paleo f(x) that I’ve been dying to share with you. There isn’t room for everything in one post…so stay tuned for more.
Here are three of my faves:
from Paleo f(x) in Austin, TX. Which was pretty much the best thing ever. If you’ve been following me on Instagram @resnickelizabeth you’ve had a little taste of it already.
I was totally excited to meet Mark Sisson from Mark’s Daily Apple in person!
I have so much to share there’s no way it will fit in one blog post…you know I like to keep things short and sweet!
Or collard greens. Or chard. Or any of those somewhat bitter leafy greens that you’re not quite sure what to do with.
You know they’re good for you, you just don’t really want to eat them. I get it.
So here’s a super easy way to make them taste amazing. So you’ll actually eat them.
Here’s what you need (besides the kale):
bone broth and avocado oil.
A little garlic doesn’t hurt either.
Want a fun little travel kit to bring on your adventures this summer?
Of course you do!
Something that goes with me on every trip is this Body Essentials Travel Kit from Annmarie Skincare.
The delicious breaded and deep fried calamari served as an appetizer isn’t doing you any favors. Don’t even get me started on the oil it’s cooked in. (That’s not to say I don’t indulge from time to time…I do.)
But calamari in marinara sauce is another story altogether. Just as delicious, and actually doing something for you. In fact, you may be surprised to hear that calamari is a great source of collagen. So you’re giving your skin, hair and nails a boost while enjoying a delicious Italian meal.
Use frozen, pre-cleaned calamari. I found it in the freezer section by the seafood department.
The best part is, it’s really easy to make at home. Here’s what I used:
it doesn’t get much better!
But what if the delicious chocolate pudding was amazing for your skin and gave you an energy boost? And was so healthy you could eat it for breakfast?
I should add that this pudding is also paleo, primal, gluten free, grain free, and dairy free. What’s not to like?
So what’s in this chocolate pudding? Continue reading
came out of nowhere. Kind of like the month of May itself.
Summer is coming. For some reason it didn’t really hit me until the very end of April. So on April 29, I decided that May would be ass and abs month.
I’m not into dieting or whipping myself into shape. Hopefully you’re not either. But we all want to look cute in our shorts and bikinis this summer!
About to do some weighted squats 🙂
That why I very publicly (on Instagram) declared May to be #assandabsmonth, and I’m so happy that some of my friends are joining me.
